This Privacy Policy explains how Groovy Decades, developed by Peter Sido ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. What we collect
When you register we collect your email address and a display name. During gameplay we store your scores, star ratings, level completion records, and group memberships. We do not collect your real name, address, phone number, or payment information.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used solely to operate the game: saving progress across devices, showing leaderboards within your group, and enabling the challenge-a-friend feature. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party.
3. Data storage and security
Data is stored on a private server protected with HTTPS and hashed passwords. We retain data while your account is active. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days.
4. Children
This App is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Contact us at privacy@caretrace.uk if you believe a child has registered and we will delete the account promptly.
5. Third-party services
Google Fonts — loaded at build time; no runtime tracking. YouTube links — optional links open in your browser and are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. No advertising or analytics SDKs are used.
6. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)
You may request access to, correction of, portability of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email privacy@caretrace.uk and we will respond within 30 days. UK/EU users may also complain to the ICO.
7. Cookies
The App does not use cookies. This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies.
8. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be noted with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
